Hi, I am interested in learning more information on Robert Carr.

He is on the 1900 Indian Territory census, Creek Nation as Robert Haw born 1850, with wife Bettie born 1855 and daughter Adda born 1882. At the lower part of the census page Relating to Indians, which shows other name, if any - he is lsted as Robert Carr, with wife Bettie and daughter Adda - all shown as full blood Creek Indian. Robert Carr is also listed on the 1910, and 1920 Oklahoma census, all at Wetumka, Hughes Co.

Let me briefly tell you why I am intersted in the name Robert Haw. My grandfather was Robert Lee Haw born about 1882-82, in Arkansas. He died in 1951 in Arizona. His father was Robert Haw and his mother was Calley Ward (daughter of David Ward, and I believe, Sarah Lackey). After searching for 30 years,I have absolutely nothing else on Robert Haw. Calley Ward married a Preston Satterfield about 1883 in Little River Co. Arkansas and she died about 1907 in Bowie Co. Texas.
