Seeking descendants of Jacob Schichtl (1864-1949) and his wife, who may have been born in or near New Washington Crawford County Ohio, as were so many of the Schichtel family. Mary (need maiden name) lived 1868-1961.

At one point, they probably lived in Conway Arkansas, and probably were part of the St. Joseph Parish in Conway. They went to Catholic Church in the Tulsa Oklahoma area.

I have discovered brief info on Joe Thomas Schichtl (1896-1971), George J. Schichtle (1900-1984), Catherine Schichtle (1891-1961), Henry R. Schichtle (Schichtler in his obit???) (1907-1987), and Casper Schichtle (1909-1966). ALso, Matilda S. Hoseman of Vicksburg (Mrs. Charles Antoine or Antoyne), Margaret Long of Pampa Texas, Helen Gwilliam (1906-1974) of Tulsa, and Appolonia Burke of Hartford Connecticut.

I have a photo of a Mr. Schichtel and two women taken near Joplin Missouri around the 1870s or 1880s that might be these people, as well as many unidentified tintype photos from this side.

The other kin moved to the farmland south of Grand Rapids Michigan, near New Salem Michigan. Later, some moved to Traverse City.
