My grandfather, John Roark, left Texas for Oklahoma after his wife died. He and oldest Joesph (Joe) worked the mines near Tulsa (Horaty Coal) until their deaths. John never remarried and died in early 1900s. Joe and wife Dollie had three children. Joe died around 1930 and is buried in Tulsa as well. I now realize that since Oklahoma was not a state that records were not kept the same way. I would appreciate any information you can give me about where John is buried.
