Searching for descendants of my 4th great grandparents Samuel Solomon & Martha Fleming, married in Lincoln County, Tennessee on June 30, 1842. Eight known children were born of this union: Pleasant (1844-), Eliza Ann Lamar (1845-), Sarah G. (1847-), Rachel (1848-1860), Margaret Virginia (1849-), John Henry (1851-1929), David Andrew (1852-1939) & Woodruf Alexander (1859-1940). The first five children were born in Tennessee and the last three were born in Ellis County, Texas, I believe.
Martha died at age 34 of inflammation and Samuel married Rebecca Billingsley in Ellis County, Texas on August 31, 1860. One child was born of this union Nathan S.. This Solomon family was in Shelby County, Texas in 1850, Ellis County, Texas in 1860 and in Johnson County, Texas from at least 1870-1880. Some of Martha & Samuel's descendants later moved to Stephens County, Oklahoma. I descend from their son David Andrew that married Georgia Ann Mills an lived in Hamilton County, Texas.
