I am currently searching for information on my gg-uncle, Joseph J. NORRID. I have a copy of his will that shows that he was living in Muldrow, Sequoyah Co., OK in 1892 and 1893. His will was filed 2/3/1893 in Crawford Co., AR. My records indicate that Joseph was born 10/31/1847 in TN and died in Muldrow, OK in 1893. He is buried in the old Bodine Cemetery, 43 Community, Crawford Co., AR. His parents were Bassell NORROD and Elizabeth REED NORROD. He had a sister, Susan NARD MOONEYHAM. This surname has undergone several changes. Joseph enlisted in the 4th Arknasas Infantry under the name of Joseph J. NARD.

He was married twice. The second time on 8/6/1886 to Susie Breeden spelling his name then as Joseph J. NORRID. His children are listed as William (Willie) B., Emma Lee NORRID PAYNE, James L., Maudie E., Obed, and Pyrtle O.
