Is there anyone out there that has this county history book? I'm looking for mention of the Jones family. James Clarence "Pat" Jones was a businessman in this area. His name is mentioned quite frequently in the Ada Evening News from 1908 to 1911. He owned a hotel and later purchased the Pontotoc Cafe. He had a son Marshall, daughter Pauline, and neice Helen Jones

I have a book "History of Pontotoc County, Oklahoma" copyright 1976, and could not find that name in the book after briefly looking through index and book.

You may make copies if needed from our Vol. 1. There is some Tilly's listed.
Our library is open on MON.Tues. & Wed afternoons from 12:30 to 4:00. each week.

The book I have was published in 1976, so I doubt there are any available for purchase, unless and update is available. The historical library should have more information than what I have or that is available online.
