Surnames: ROBINSON, CROWLEY
I am seeking information on William Edgar Robinson, who was the first sherrif of Okmulgee County and was killed in the line of duty in November 1908. I was contacted some time back by Undersherrif McGuire of the Okmulgee County Sherrif Dept, as he would like to have a memorial service in 2008, in honor of Mr. Robinsons's ultimate sacrifice. Mr. Robinson was born in Howard County, Missouri, and that is why I was contacted.
We are searching for descendants of Mr. Robinson, who was married and had two small children at the time of his death. I located his sister and she was married and had a son who died in the 1960's but he never had children. Mr. Robinson's wife was named "Anna" and her maiden name was CROWLEY.
We would like to have family member(s) at the memorial service and any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
