Quite an egg- Laverne L. Sandy, 2260 NW 38, Monday said one of his White Leghorn hens laid an egg almost as big as a baseball. The egg measured 7 inches around the short way and 8 1/2 inches the long way. An ordinary sized egg measures 5 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. It is the biggest egg he's ever seen and he thinks it's almost record size, he said.
