Memorial services are pending for Bruce Michael McLean, 56, resident of Irving, Texas who passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 at his home in Irving. Services are under the direction of Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home in Irving.

Bruce was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 29, 1944 the son of Bruce Malcolm and Lola Grace Smedley McLean. McLean was raised at Army bases around the United States. He and his wife Donna were married in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; his mother Lola McLean who is now living at Green County Assisted Living in Bartlesville, formerly of Nowata; three step-children and one step-brandchild; a brother, William "Bill" McLean and wife, Carol of Bartlesville and formerly Nowata; three niees: Karen McLean South and Kelly McLean of Bartlesville and Renee' McLean of Chicago, Illinois; a nephew, Greg McLean of Bartlesville; two great-nephews of Bartlesville; three aunts and uncles and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce M. McLean, former editor of the Nowata Daily Star.

The family suggests that those who wish may make memorial donations to Nowata 10-33, the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in his name.
