Funeral services for Nora Grace Hutcherson, 80, of Marshall, Missouri who died Thursday, April 12, 2001 at the home of her daughter were held Saturday, April 14 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, Missouri with the Reverend Joe Porter officiating, interment followed in Ridge Cemetery in Marshall under the direction of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Pallbearers were Buzz, Rick and Bryan Toliver; Brian Hutcherson, Jamie Hieronymus and Dale Malan. Honorary Pallbearers were: Brand Perry and Barry Snyder.

Nora was born June 30, 1920 at Hodge, Missouri to Noah Arthur and Annie Riefstack Howerton. She married L.W. "Billy" Hutcherson and May 26, 1945. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and was a housewife and a member of Union Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hutcherson is survived by two daughters: Mary A. Toliver and her husband, Jack of Malta Bend, Missouri and Debra Kiser and her husband, James R. of Marshall, Missouri; two sons: Robert M. Hutcherson and L.W. "Willie" Hutcherson, both of Marshall, Missouri; a step daughter, Barbara Foster of Iowa; two sisters: Dorothy Gorman of Warsaw, Missouri and Ruth McFarland of Salida, Colorado; a brother, Tom Howerton of Nowata; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hutcherson on July 3, 1993; her parents; a son, Douglas Keith Hutcherson; a sister and three brothers.

A memorial has been set up in her name to Union Baptist Church or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice.
