Graveside funeral services for Auddria Frauenberger, 85, life-time resident of Nowata County, who died Thursday, March 29, 2001 in the Nowata Nursing Center were held Monday, April 2 in the Armstrong Cemetery in the Big Creek area of Nowata County under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata.
Auddria began this life on June 8, 1915 in Alluwe as the daughter of George and Lucinda Secondine Moore. She grew up in Alluwe and the Nowata area and received her education in the Alluwe Schools where she also played basketball. Auddria met and later was united in marriage with Milton Milo Frauenberger on July 13, 1935 at Independence, Kansas. They made the Big Creek area of Nowata County their home since that time.
Auddria had worked at the Bliss Restaurant and Marcus Manufacturing in Nowata. She had also worked as a CHR for the Cherokee Nation and retired from the Indian Health Clinic. Auddria had been a member of the Armstrong Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by two sons: Orville William "Herb" Frauenberger and Ralph Allen Frauenberger, Sr., both of Nowata; by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, by other relatives and by her many friends.
Auddria was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Frauenberger on January 11, 1973; by one granddaughter, Kelly Sue Frauenberger on August 14, 1993; by her parents, George and Lucinda Moore; by one brother, John D. Moore on September 19, 1960 and by one sister, Marguerite "Marge" Barnes on December 25, 1988.
