Graveside funeral services for Pauline Cease, 90, of Coffeyville, Kansas, who died Saturday, March 31, 2001 at Windsor Place in the London Unit, Coffeyville will be held Wednesday, April 4 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery both of Coffeyville.
Pauline was born August 22, 1910 in Alluwe to Harold and Bessie Long Dunn. She attended schools in Nowata.
On October 29, 1927 she married Glenn August Cease in Coffeyville, Kansas. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Coffeyville. Mr. Cease was General Yard Master for Missouri Pacific Railroad. He died July 25, 1972.
Mrs. Cease was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Eagles Auxiliary, where she served as secretary for 20 years and was State Sweetheart for Eagles Auxiliary in 1995.
Mrs. Cease is survived by one son, Harold G. Cease of Coffeyville; one daughter, Karen Thompson of Coffeyville; one sister, Lucille Gillesprey of Nowata; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Donald Paul Cease and Lewis Dwayne Cease; two daughters: Loretta Joy Pullins and Martha Ellen McKellips; one brother, Harold Dunn and one sister, Ruby Crupper.
The family would welcome memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church.
