Funeral services for Erica Rena Garrison, 10, of Claremore who died as the result of an accident Sunday, March 4, 2001 in Claremore, were held Wednesday, March 7 at First Assembly of God in Claremore with Pastor Curtis Owens officiating. Interment followed at Ball Cemetery near Childers under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service of Claremore.

The daughter of Paul Eric and Cecelia Margaret Battenfield Garrison was born March 21, 1990 in Claremore. The family moved to Nowata in 1995 and Erica attended Nowata Elementary School until November of 2000 when they moved back to Claremore where she attended the fourth grade at Claremont Elementary School and attended the First Assembly of God in Claremore. Erica was a little girl full of energy, who enjoyed horseback riding, swimming, art and riding her bicycle.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Cecelia Garrison of the home; brothers: Russell Lee Battenfield of Wichita, Kansas; Jonathan and Matthew I Garrison of the home; four aunts; five uncles; grandparents: Carl and Effie Garrison of Delaware and Thelma and Merrill Mayo of Tulsa and nine cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to the Benefit for Erica Garrison at the First Bank of Oklahoma, Claremore.
