Graveside services for Edmond K. Dunn, 69, of Coffeyville, Kansas, who died Friday, February 16, 2001 at his home, was held Monday, February 18 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Edna, Kansas with Pastor Mike Graham presiding, interment followed under the direction of Graves Funeral Home of Coffeyville, Kansas.

Edmond was born on November 18, 1931 in Craig County to Henry C. and Grace E. Green Dunn. He was raised in Edna, Kansas, attended Edna High School. He married Verla Armstrong on February 25, 1950. They later divorced.

Dunn was self employed as an auto mechanic in Edna for several years. He was later employed by the City of Coffeyville as Head of Maintenance until his retirement in 1996. He was involved with the Edna Volunteer Fire Department; also served as a Deputy Sheriff in Labette County. Edmond was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Edna, Kansas. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include four children: daughters, Pamela Hughes and husband, Leroy; Kimberly Thomas and husband, Kevin, both of Nowata; sons, Robert Dunn and wife, Katie of Chouteau, Brian Dunn and wife, Debbie of Nowata; four aunts: Jolene Howe and Berniece Hayes, both of Coffeyville, Kansas; Katie Roberts of Sacramento, California and Helen Dunn of Bartlesville and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Henry Lee Dunn.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Edna Fire Department or Meals on Wheels of Coffeyville c/o Graves Funeral Home of Coffeyville, Kansas.
