Graveside services for Gary Neal Flynt, 41 of Nowata who died Monday, January 8, 2001 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, were held Thursday, January 11 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chatauqua, Kansas with the Reverend Long officiating under the direction of Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home and Cremation Society of Oklahoma in Tulsa.

Gary was born December 14, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas.

He and Deborah Hewitt were married August 31, 1999 at Miami. Gary was employed by CNHI Nowata Publishing Company (Bellmar) of Nowata.

He was preceded in death by a brother Bob Flynt.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Flynt of the home; his mother, Marcia Flynt of Pawhuska; a sister, Modena Gibson of Prescott, Arizona; two brothers: Robert and Bill Flynt, both of Pawhuska; seven step-children: Joey and Billy McGrath and Sabrina Wisniewski all of New Jersey; Calvin and Billy, Jr., McGraft both of New Jersey; Cherokee Jo Sykes and Joshua Tanner Sykes both of Nowata and Paige Sherman of Bartlesville.
