Letha Almeta Kirk, 87 of Tulsa, passed away, Sunday, November 26, 2000. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa under the direction of Ninde Funeral Directors, Garden Chapel.

Almeta was born on June 22, 1913 in El Reno to William and Maud Ferguson. She married Ervin Kirk and moved to Nowata in the late 1930s. Her husband was part owner of the Kirk & Son Jewelry Store. They left Nowata in 1959 and moved to Tulsa.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Delbert and Sharon Kirk of Tulsa; two sisters: Alpha Baird of Tulsa and Lorraine Perry of California; two grandchildren: Justin and Ervin Kirk, both of Indiana and a nephew: Ralph Ferguson of Memphis, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Cates and Vivian Parkinson.
