Rogers, 73, who died Thursday, November 23, 2000 at
Tulsa Regional Hospital, were held Monday, November 27 at the Assembly of God Church in Chelsea. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in
Tulsa under the direction of Seaman-Blanke Funeral
Service in Chelsea.
Itris was born October 15, 1927 in
London,
Arkansas to Rufus and Esther
Rogers. She married Ealon
Grey Rogers on July 18, 1950 in
Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1996. Mrs. Rogers worked as a bookkeeper for
Putnam City Public
Schools. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at
Putnam City Methodist Church in
Oklahoma City.
Itris is preceded in death by her husband, Ealon Rogers; parents: Rufus and Esther Russell; two brothers: R.G. Russell and L.D. Priebe and one sister, Edna
Wooten.
She is survived by one son: Randall Neil
Rogers of Tulsa; three daughters: Donna
Elam of Chelsea; Neva Neil
Anderson of Little Rock,
Arkansas and
Gayle Renee
McKean of Las
Vegas, Nevada; two brothers: Cecil Russell of Muskogee and
Artis Russell of Tulsa; one sister; Suzie
Lively of
Jenks as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
