It has a been a couple of years since I posted this. I have a growing list of research that I wish I could do in Muskogee County.

I do appreciate the services offered by the Muskogee County Genealogical Society. However, seeing as how each research request will cost $7.50 to $10 plus individual stamp and envelope, it simply is out of my price range at this time. I have emailed the Muskogee County library for assistance, but it has been almost four months without a response.

- John Wiley New: Webbers Falls, 18 Sep 1962 (2)
- George Oscar New: Webbers Falls, 31 Jan 1960 (2-1)
- H. S. New: 17 Mar 1939 (1-4)
- W. H. New: 22 Jan 1926/23 Jan 1926 (4)

I have included my interest in the New family because John New and his wife were witnesses to Sam and Kate's wedding in 1915. I am curious about that family because it may shed some light onto the Scroggins family.
