Freda Lee Bowser

Services for Freda Lee Bowser, 84, Sulphur, were held September 24, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Cowley-Krien Chapel with Wayne Moore officiating. Interment was at Drake Cemetery, Sulphur.
Freda was born to George Bowser and Ella Solomon on January 17, 1919 in Drake. She died September 22, 2003 at Artesian Nursing Home, Sulphur.
She was born and raised in the Drake Community south of Sulphur. She lived and worked as a hotel cashier in Stuttgart, Ark. for 20 years. She then moved to Oklahoma City and worked at the Skirvin Hotel for about 20 years before moving to Sulphur where she worked at the Chickasaw Lodge until her retirement.
Preceding her in death are her mother and father; a brother, Marvin Bowser; four sisters, Inez Wright, Beatrice Gassaway, Corda Mann and Elien Huffines.
Survivors are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Scott Kirby, Randall Kirby, Alan Kirby, Glenn Mann, Rob Blackburn and Bob Blackburn.
Cowley-Krien Funral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
