Services for Cleo Levida Luna, 92, Sulphur, were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8 at DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Day officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born September 11, 1914 in Cooke County, Texas, she died Thursday, Jan. 4 in Sulphur.
She grew up in Gainesville, Texas, working at the Miller Drug Store before coming to Sulphur and working at the Crawford Telephone and Chickasaw Telephone Company for 24 years.
Her husband, P. G. Luna, preceded her in death. She lived in the community of Fletcher in Murray County before moving to Sulphur. She was a member of the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Marie Luna; a grandson, Allen Ray Barnes; three sisters, Clara Roberson, Ova Leta Jones and Merkel Colson; three brothers Obe Lee-Lemons, Donald Lemons and Arnold Lemons.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Audette and Herbert Barnes; two sons and their wives, Perry and Lilla Luna and Marlin and Gayle Luna, all of Sulphur; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and one sister, Echool Grimes, Pauls Valley.
Pallbearers were Perry Luna, Marlin Luna, Paul Luna, Michael Barnes, Stanley Barnes, Herbert Barnes and John Scott.
