LaDon McCurtain, 67,
Sulphur were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2 at the Krien Funeral
Chapel in
Sulphur. Interment was in
Rosedale Cemetery in
Ada with Krien Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born January 30, 1939 in
Fitzhugh to James Leon and Winona Mae (Law)
McCurtain, he died Wednesday, Dec. 27.
He grew up in Brentwood,
Calif., and it was there he met and married Rita
Jackson. In 1974, the couple moved to
Pontotoc County. In the 1990's, he moved his family to Murray County where he resided at the time of his death. He earned an Associates Degree in Animal Science at
Murray State
College in Tishomingo. He worked in construction most of his life and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are four sons, Johnnie
McCurtain,
California, Darryl
McCurtain and Robert
McCurtain, both of
Davis and John
McCurtain, Ada; one daughter, Rhonda
McCurtain, California; three brothers, Jerry and James
McCurtain, both of
California and Lynn
McCurtain,
Sulphur and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
