Doris L. Shipman

Services for Doris L. Shipman, 82, Litchfield Park, Ariz., will be held Friday, Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sandy Baptist Church. Interment will be in Sandy Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born February 22, 1924 in Steedman, Okla., to Albert Buddy Cravatt and Clicy Folsom Cravatt, she died Saturday, Sept. 30 in Phoenix, Ariz.

She married G. W. Shipman on August 29, 1947 at Davis. A homemaker, she had lived in Sulphur before moving to Arizona.

Survivors include her husband, G. W., Avondale, Ariz.; three daughters, Truelin and Lawrence Harper, Phoenix, Ariz., Sonya Gunther, Houston, Texas and Shirley Matt, Phoenix, Ariz; two sons, Gerald Shipman, and Darrell Shipman, both of Phoenix, Ariz. and a brother, Eugene Cravatt, Ardmore.
