Billy Horace McCollum
A private family service was held for Billy Horace McCollum, 62, Sulphur. Krien Funeral Home of Sulphur was in charge of arrangements.
Born August 30, 1944 to Horace Vinson and Ollie Faye (Bramblatt) McCollum, he died Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the Oklahoma Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Bill grew up and attended school in Duncan. In March, 1964, he joined the U.S. Army where he served for six years. After military service, he began work at Halliburton in manufacturing. Due to failing health, he moved to the Veterans Center in Sulphur in March of this year.
Surviving are two brothers, Don McCollum, Sulphur and Harry McCollum, Porterville, Calif. and two sisters, Sandra Pogue, Seminole and Ann McWatters, Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael McCollum.
