Editor Fay CROSSETT wrote: Let's tear down all the old fences in
town and build new ones. They should be placed on the government
line as the city council is likely, some of these days, to adopt a resolution forcing the fences to be moved back off the street.

The new hotel was set to be ready and open about April 1. C. T.
WILLIAMS of the Grand Avenue Hotel in Oklahoma City planned to
run the hotel and name it the Hotel Williams.

Howard and Son at City Bakery urged Davis residents to buy Davis Bread. 'Buying Ardmore bread helps Ardmore and gives Davis a black eye,' they advertised.

F. P. 'Doc' HOWARD by request of several leading citizens of Davis is making preparation to execute an elegant large (25x32 inches) oil painting of Turner Falls.

CROSSETT said, 'There are many rumors afloat about the railroad maneuvers. One report says the Santa Fe has bought the electric line grade and will convert it into a steam road. Another says the Santa Fe wouldn't have it. Another says the Frisco will absorb the electric line and the Santa Fe will build.' "
