Wayne McCracken

Services for Wayne McCracken, 61, Sulphur, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Sulphur First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Ransom officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford, officiating.

Born July 6, 1944 in Sulphur to Beulah (Pope) and Silas McCracken, he died Monday, Feb. 13 in Sulphur.

He married Kathy (Magar) Long at Stratford on June 8, 1979.

He was a carpenter and rancher and spent all of his life in the Sulphur area. He was preceded in death by his father, Silas McCracken and one brother, John Luther McCracken.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy, of the home in Sulphur; one son, Danny Long, Pauls Valley; a daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Terry Blalock, his mother, Beulah McCracken, two sisters, Jean Parsons and Mary Garrison and one brother, Don McCracken, all of Sulphur and four grandchildren.
