Services for E. C. "Nick" Bledsoe, 89, Davis, will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30 at Hale's Funeral Chapel in Davis with Clif LaNoy and Rev. Randy Chapman officiating. Hales Fox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born on October 5, 1915 in Bokchito to Eldery and Mary (Neeley) Bledsoe, he died June 27 in Davis.
He married Gladys Henry in 1937 at Asher. She preceded him in death in 1995 after 58 years of marriage. In 1997, he married Wanda Carter and she preceded him in death in 1998. He was also preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Earl, Wade, Ernest and Roy.
He worked in the oilfields for many years and later worked as a driller for Sooner Rock in Davis. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was a veteran of WWII.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary LaNoy, Guthrie, Nika Bledsoe, Davis, Opal Bejeck, and husband, Grant, South Lake, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
