Does anybody know how many cemeteries are in Chouteau, Oklahoma before I drive there? My great grandfather was said to have been buried in Chouteau and I would like to find where he was buried. His name is David Bailey BALES, born March 8, 1840 and was said to have died May 16, 1898. Any help would be appreciated.

There are about 6 cemeteries in the Chouteau area.

CHOUTEAU HAS 2 CEMETERIES THE FIRST KNOWN AS THE OLD CEMETERY. IT IS ON THE VERY NORTH END OF McCRACKEN. THE NEW CEMETERY IS ON WEST HARRISON

I am looking for the place where a relative was buried. He would of been my Dad's (LJ Bales) Great Grandpa.

His name is David Bailey Bales, born March 8, 1840 and was said to have died May 16, 1898 around Chouteau, OK.

If anybody knows of what cemetery he is actually at, please let me know since I'm sure there is no headstone.
