Classification: Query
Perhaps someone responded offline to your query of several weeks ago, Sharolyn. If not, here are a couple of links to marriage records:
1. The Mayes County Court Clerk's phone number and address at this URL:
http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/start.asp?viewType=COU...
2. Many marriage records are posted online at one of the TWO Oklahoma court websites. Just now I ran a couple of common surnames through this database and narrowed it to Mayes County and MARRIAGE LICENSES and was pleased to see one license that went back to 1915. Some counties have marriage license data posted from the Territory days--prior to Statehood in 1907. Read the "HELP" section to best know how to use a wildcard or get hints on locating a name. Remember that people often used their "go-by" names rather than their legal names on licenses. If you do find your people, then you can contact the court clerk about getting a certified copy of the license.

3. There is a genealogy section at the library in Pryor - Harrison Public Library:
http://www.pryorok.org/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Pryor.woa/wo/4.33....
and I was happy to find that records to the Fairview/Graham Cemeteries are available online off the "Genealogy" link on that website.
4. Jeff Smith coordinates the Mayes County website via OkGenWeb:

5. And you know, of course, that there are several free sites that have recent Social Security death data available. My favorite is:

Because posts made to this board are archived and also available through a Google search, please consider posting your death/marriage queries here. You never know when someone browsing this board months from now may see your post and have an answer. Good luck!
