Anderson, 77, of Marietta, was pronounced dead in the emergency room of Mercy Health Love County Hospital following transport from the scene of her single-vehicle crash.

Anderson was driving westbound on Highway 32 approximately three miles east of Marietta when she lost control of her 2002 Chevy Trailblazer on an icy spot on the road.
