Looking for information on John McKibbin (sometimes Mckibben, Mckibbins). He was born 1782/83 country unknown and died 1835. He married Elizabeth "Betsy" (maiden name unknown) from Connecticut. In the early 1800s they lived in Southport, New York. John, Betsy and most of their children are buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family remained in the Tri-County area until my grandfather Thomas Henry McKibbin Sr. moved to California in the 1920's. I am especially trying to figure out where John was born and how he got the Southport New York. Thanks so much for you help.
