I am in need of help to verify whether the Daniel Thompson at Decherds Cemetery, Love County, Oklahoma is my 3rd great grandfather.

Daniel Alexander Thompson was born 23 May 1816 in Alabama and died 11 Aug 1890. At the time I found this information, I did not have a place of death. The last place I was able to prove he lived was in Texas. He was living with his son, N. P. (Nehemiah Padgett) Thompson.

I do have information putting Daniel and his family for many years in Indian Territory, Oklahoma. So he may have been in Oklahoma at the time of his death.The grave site has his dates of birth and death with one day difference in the day for each.

Birth: 22 May 1816 Death: 12 Aug 1890

So I believe this is my 3rd great grandfather. I just need to find proof. I can not go to Oklahoma to do the research. And contacting anyone there has not worked out. I have no idea if his son, N. P. or possibly his daughter, Mary Jane (Thompson) Adams, would have been listed as an informant.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
