Services for Randy Ray Price, 49, of Thackerville, a former Wilson resident, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 17 at the Rexroat Baptist Church, Wilson, with the Rev. Larry Coley officiating. Interment was at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery, Lone Grove.

Born July 7, 1959 at Ardmore, the son of Billy Bob and Mary Nell Emerson Price, he died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Lake Fuqua near Duncan.

Mr. Price grew up in Dillard and graduated from Wilson High School in 1977. He had worked in the oilfields of Oklahoma and on the family farm most of his life. As a young boy he was nicknamed “Froggie Joe” by his brother, Bobby. Mr. Price’s passion was camping, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the Rexroat Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Mary Nell Price of Thackerville; children, Casey and Jodi, both of Marietta, and four other children; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Mark Muller of Marietta, and Sherry and Shane Sawyers of Lone Grove; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Tammy Price of Winnsboro, Texas; two nieces, Candice and JaCoda; and four nephews, Cody, Shane, Bryar and Landon; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan and Estelle Emerson, and Robert and Mrs. Glenn Price.

Pallbearers were Bob Cantrell, David Cartwright, David Norton, Jacky Rabe, Cody Muller and A.B. Smith.
