I knew that John Thomas Dewett and wife Nannie B. lived in Hughes Co. per 1920 and 1930 census.
Family tradition was that they moved to MO after 1930. This was not true.

Today, I located the death certificate of John T. Dewett, b. 1880 in AR and died Garland, TX 1960. Removed to: Wetumka Cemetery, Hughes Co., OK for burial. It is very likely that his wife Nannie is also buried at Wetumka Cemetery.

Sons were Wayne P. & Kenneth. Daughters were: Arcil R., Estrel G., & Jessie F. Dewett/Dewitt.

We are in West Texas and the Genweb for Hughes Co. is lacking (on a poor diet) so does anyone have access to Wetumka Cemtery records?

Any help would be appreicated.
