I am doing research on the Steamboat J R Williams that was sunk during the Civil War by the Confederates near Tamaha. I was told by a resident of Stigler that he had seen a family group photo taken at Tamaha near the river with the wreck of the J R Williams steamboat in the background in the water.
This might have been taken in the early 1900's. Also I know of another person from the same area that has seen the photo . If anyone has any information on this photo or any other photo or information on this steamboat please let me know.
