I noticed the surnames you have listed. I was wondering what
are the names for Roe that you have.
I'm looking for Roe families who lived
at Pond Creek - names, marriages, births, deaths.

I did find a Ruth Roe who was born 26 January 1897
and died August 1978; last locality for last social
security check was Pon Creek, Oklahoma. Found this
on familysearch.com under the Social Security Death index.

Ruth Olive Stoops Cook Grotts Roe lived in Pond Creek OK, she was born 26 Jan 1897 in Iowa. Her last marriage was to Melvin William Roe. Ruth and Mel had 4 children: Charles born 1924 died 1936, Georgia Mae who died as a child, Pauline Althea "Sally" born 1927, and Isaac William born 1930. They lived in Pond Creek OK for many years, Ruth is buried in the cemetery in Pond Creek with Charles and Georgia. Ruth was my grandmother (Grotts marriage) and I'm still in contact with my aunt and uncle. Are these the Roe family that you are looking for?

When you say buried at Pond Creek, do you
mean buried at Pond Creek Cemetery, Pond Creek,
Oklahoma?

I have two different names for the infant
that Melvin and Ruth Roe lost. One is
Ruby Mae and the other name is Georgia Mae.
Which one is correct? By any chance were they
twins that died when they were 1 day old? The
reason I'm asking, because according to Melvin's
dad's obituary, his dad lost a set of twin
granddaughters and a grandson.

Do you think that your aunt and uncle could help
me with any additional information for Melvin Roe's
children by his first wife and by Ruth?

Both Georgia Mae and Ruby Mae were Ruths daughters, Georgia Mae died about age two (I think) and I don't believe Ruby made it to age two, Charles died about age 8 (All buried in the cemetery in Pond Creek). Ruth's other two children from the marriage to Melvin are those individuals I want to put you in contact with.
