had a brother Rufus Henslee (Hensley) b. 1875 in Texas

I have found them on the 1900 census and a marraige record in Garvin CO for William to Annie Gibson.

I am looking for any info prior to 1900. I know they were living in Chickasha Indian Territory most of thier lives, and were raised among the American Indians there.

William said he was indian (chickasaw) to all that knew him except on the census records. He was a cowboy and worked on the ranches in Oklahoma and later in Texas.

He never owned a peice of land.

I am NOT looking for info to get a CIB card!! I just want to patch the family history.

I cannot find his family and suspect his name was "given to him". His mother was Della Green from Texas brn 1855. I cannot find any marraige info on his mother or father (William Henslee/Hensley). His mother was not a part of his life growing up, the family found out about her on his death certificate which was from the family bible that William second wife Emma Armstrong kept(after his passing)

William was raised with whom I presume to be his uncle a native american named Turnbull buried in Ardmore OK. I do not have anymore info on his name or tribe.

He did name one of his daughters Della.

Thank you in advance if you find anything, I have had no success and have hit a brick wall.

My great grandmother on my dads side is Spicey Powell. The Spicey Powell Im related to is burried in Tulare Calif. My grandmother Carlean Isaacs was the daughter of Spicey Powell and David Isaacs. She was born 1910 in KY.

My gggrandfather was also Silas D Gardner. He was married to 2 women before he left for the war. He married Elizabeth and their daughter Catherine Emiline Gardner was my grandmother. He had another daughter named Julia. A gggreatgranddaughter of Julia, said she had some evidence that Silas had not died in the war as everyone thought. But, had another family in Pennsylvania. William Malone and wife Lillie Emily Daniels wsere living in Garvin County, Whitebead to be exact, in 1889/1890 when their daughter Lillie Emily Malone was born there.

They also had children Ida, Pearl, Jess, Frank, William, and a daughter named Johnnie Dee Malone.

Lillie Emily Malone married Walter Allen Vaile, in Texas, and Johnnie Dee married Silas Ellis.

Looking for any info on the Malone - Daniels family. Is there a Native American connection?

According to census there last known place of resident is in garvin county,oklahoma!

I have been searching for years for there buriel spot!

Mollie (jackson) noland was born in 1845 Some say she died 1925 but i dont know where they got that info
James R. Noland was born 1841 or 1842,some say he died 1927 but this info i found from a veterans cemetery memorial and it has got around on the internet but since i found out at this cemetery only his brother is there,the keeper just speculated that james was there to because of a veterans list! So i do not know for sure where he is buried either!
His nickname was pump noland

Most of there children moved to texas and James and mollie noland stayed living in garvin,oklahoma has far as we know!
They where in there 70's in 1920

Any help on this would be great!

Authur James married Jennie Lee White not Annie, Jennie's father was William White and mother was Mary Ellen (Sink) White. William's father was Martin K White. William was born in Arkansas and is buried in the cemetery next to his wife. The cemetery is located in Wynnewood, Garvin County, Ok. You will also find Samuel Sink and his wife buried in the same cemetery. They are buried close to William and his wife. At this point William had 3 brothers that are known and one sister. I am the g-g-granddaughter through the sister.

My ggg-grandfather was John Emory Carr, born 24 Jan 1849 (Doaksville, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory). His parents were Rev. John Harpole Carr and Harriett Newell Nail, a full-blood Choctaw Indian. John Carr died in Wynnewood, Garvin County, OK, 5 Jun 1917.

I have little information on his wife, Alice Johnson, with the exception of her birth and death dates found at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood (2 Apr 1853-15 May 1914).

I've read your Mar 04,2002 msg to Peggy about JHDunkin. Myhusbands grandmother was Bertha Dunkin Edwards known as Granny Bird. She was born in 1889 to Bill Dunkin, but that is all we can find. If you have addional info about her mother and sister. Their uncle John Henry Dunkin raised them and had several children also. He married Margaret Edwards. Bertha Dunkin married Richard T. Cynthia born Sep 26, 1878 died Aug. 19, 1960.

L. B. born Sep. 18, 1875 died Aug. 2, 1955.

I am looking for an obit for a James Henry Wigley..he died
26 Oct 1928 in the hospital at Oklahoma City but his death certificate states he was buried in Blanchard Ok. If I could just find a death article maybe it would say where he is buried.
