My ggg-grandfather was John Emory Carr, born 24 Jan 1849 (Doaksville, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory). His parents were Rev. John Harpole Carr and Harriett Newell Nail, a full-blood Choctaw Indian. John Carr died in Wynnewood, Garvin County, OK, 5 Jun 1917.

I have little information on his wife, Alice Johnson, with the exception of her birth and death dates found at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood (2 Apr 1853-15 May 1914).
