I am researching my geneology. I am trying to locate any info regarding Eva Elizabeth Steinert, born in Tscherbakovka, Russia and married Leonhart Winter. They had several children including David which she died in childbirth with. David died shortly after. Leonhart later remarried Catherine Kuxhaus and came over to the USA and went into Okeene, Okla. However apparently some Steinert's that were perhaps Eva"s cousins had come to the USA earlier and lived in the Shattuck Okla area. They used to go visit Leonhart in Okeene and were still visiting his son, John Leonhart Winter that had married Mary Magdeline Haffner in Okeene where they lived.
