JOE D. RUDISILL
HARTSHORNE. –Military funeral services for Joe D. Rudisill, 51, World War I veteran and an employe at the naval depot here who died while at work, were Friday in the Evans funeral chapel. Rev. W.D. Barkhalter officiated.
Rudisill was born at Lynn, Okla., on April 17, 1895. He moved to Hartshorne in 1927. He entered the employ of the depot two years ago.
Survivors include the wife, two sons, Ansil
Rudisill of Hartshorne; four daughters, Mrs. Frieda Parker and Miss Verdus
Rudisill, both of McAlester, Miss Wyoda
Rudisill of Muskogee and Miss Bedott

Rudisill Funeral Held in
Denison Denison – Services were held Saturday in
Denison for Albert C. Rudisill, 53, who died Friday morning of injuries received while engaged in construction work on the
Denison dam. He was injured Wednesday when huge timbers being swung into place for a new surge tank, fell on him from a height of 40 feet.
A boilermaker,
Rudisill was employed by the Chicago Bridge and Iron Company, contractors for the surge tank installation. His home was in Amarillo.
His wife survives.

Battiest school gymnasium for Mrs. Blanche Edna McDonald, 55, a former resident of McCurtain county who died Tuesday at her home at Ridgecrisp,
Calif.
She was born at Hatton Gap, Ark., and had resided at
Battiest before moving to California five years ago. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Burial was made in the
Battiest cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Clay, two sons, Warner, Aztec, N.M.; Horton, Blue Jacket, Okla.; five daughters, Mrs. James Baker, Clebit; Mrs. Roy Burgess, Anchorage, Alaska; Mrs. Jim Manuel, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. T.J. 7/7/1957, THE OKLAHOMAN:
Seven Die In Collision
York, Pa. – Seven persons, three men and four women, were killed Tuesday in a headon collision of two automobiles on the Lincoln highway, U.S. 30, about four miles west of York. Two other persons were injured.
State policeman Paul Petzar identified the dead as:

Diehl, 23, East Berlin; his father, George E. Diehl, 50, Abbottstown; Martha Glatfelter, 50, Abbottstown; Norman
Sauer, Hanover; Elsie L. Klinedinst, Hanover; Naomi I. Rudisill,
Hanover, and Delta Roke, 52, Abbottstown.
Injured were Dean Diehl’s wife, Mary, 23, internal injuries and Esther A. Noll, 51,
Hanover.
Young
Diehl was driving his father, wife and the Glatfelter and Hoke women to Worm. The others were enroute home from work with
Sauer.

GUARDIANSHIP SUIT FILED
Durant – A suit has been filed in the county court here for the purpose of establishing legal guardians for Bobby
Rudisill jr., 3-year-old son of a former
Durant policeman who was killed in Ardmore December 15. The elder
Rudisill was a member of the Ardmore police force and was attempting to halt a burglary when fatally shot. Attorney Sam Sullivan said the case was filed so that money collected in the
Rudisill Fund at Ardmore can be legally paid to the widow and the young boy. The fund topped $3,600 Saturday. Sullivan said it was a “uncontested, agree custody case.” It is expected that the fund for the boy will be put in trust.

EDWARDS, 53, of 420 SW 51, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Western Hills Baptist Church with burial at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington. He died Wednesday of injuries sustained in a traffic accident Feb. 14.
Edwards, a native of
Lane, came to
Oklahoma City in 1948 and was an employee of the
