Would like to share/compare information on John Franklin/Mary Ann Overstreet Briscoe family of Cotton County. John Franklin and family moved to Tillman/Cotton County area in the early 1900's. Children that lived to maturity and were according to information I have in Cotton County were: George Washington Briscoe (my Grandfather), Albert Alberta (Bert) Briscoe, John Penn Briscoe, David Jefferson (Clink) Briscoe, Oscar J. (Bosco) Briscoe, William Thomas (Bill) Briscoe, P.D. Briscoe, Dewey Sampson (Dude) Briscoe, and Minny Dock (M.D.) Briscoe. Most are buried in Walters Cemetery.
