My great-grandmother, Hassie Proffitt, graduated from Ingersoll High in 1925. I have photos of her with her classmates, the girls' basketball team, and a high school graduation program. Names written on the back of of the photos and in the graduation program are Ramona Madison, Madge Speardemire, Fannie Andrews, Beatrice Ellis, Carl Weigand, Ruby Counts, Lotus Warehime, and Pearl Wheeler.
