My husband is a great-grandson of Clement and Lottie Harper. While researching this family I have found evidence that Lottie was not a Romick, but a Swasey [various spellings]. The first time I can find her in the census is 18 Jun 1880, Norwich, Franklin, Ohio with her mother, Mary Swasey. They are living next door to Jacob and Rachel Romich whom I believe are Mary's parents. I have located a death certificate that I think is Lottie's naming George Swayse as her father.
