I was searching birth records in Ohio on ancestry.com. My father and aunt were adopted twins babies in Mt. Vernon in 1952 who never knew who thier real parents were. Through DNA, and help from others, we were able to trace who the father was. The DNA matches for me (and my aunt who recently took the DNA test as well) all funnel down to a deceased woman with the last name Hunter. Today, I found two birth records with my father and aunt's birth date with the name "Hunter" at the top.
BIRTH DATE: 26 NOV 1952 (my dad and aunt's birthday)
STATE FILE NUMBER: 1952176194 (other one has a 3 at the end)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: HUNTER (other one has "Muntean").
Would the state file number be able to be used to further search? If so, how?
