I am looking to track down information and hopefully relatives of my mother's uncle - Hugh Murray. I have been getting so far, then....dead end. I would really like to know when he dies, and a little about some of his in-laws, and if he had children.

Hugh Murray was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 1891. He married Janet Ann Gillies (from Liverpool) and they both immigrated to the U.S in 1923. There are passenger lists for some of their journeys, especially Janet's, back to Liverpool. The address she was visiting is listed as: 9 mersey road, Blundellsands, Liverpool.

They arrived in Boston in 1923, and and were to meet up with James Jaimeson in Wyoming. On the electoral roles they are listed at: 69 Indianola Road, Youngstown, Ohio and at another address 751 Brentwood Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio - in the 30's and 50's.

Janet Ann's brother - William Alexander Gillies also emigrated to the U.S. He married a woman named elizabeth. I would like to know if they had two sons by the name of Bruce and Malcolm - since i have a photo of hugh murray, with "the gillies boys" bruce and malcolm in America, that was sent to his sister - my grandmother. I dont know who the gillies boys are but can only assume they may be Williams????

a Janet Murray and William Alexander gillies are both listed as deceased in Green Valley Arizona - did they move there??? I cant find anything else out.

So this is all I know. So what i need help with is:

1. Where did Hugh live, where did he die?
2. Who are Bruce and Malcolm Gillies???
3. Are there any descendants of these people?
4. Did they move to Arizona?

I would be over the moon if anyone could help.
