I am researching Mirabeau Ferree Richey born about 19 October 1807 in Beaver Pennsylvania, died 4 October 1892 in Convoy, Van Wert, Ohio. His father was Samuel Richey born about 1781 in Pennsylvania and died 1839 in Ohio. Samuel’s wife was Olivia Ferree born in Allegheny Pennsylvania and died 27 April 1831 in Columbiana, Ohio. Mirabeau’s wife was Sarah Eaton Born 11 April 1809 Columbiana, Ohio.

There was a Mirabeau F. Richey listed in the Civil War Pension Lists from Michigan. This is a different Richey.

Mirabeau married Sarah Eaton 12 March 1883 in Paris, Stark, Ohio and had five sons and five daughters. Many of the children moved to neighboring Lima, Ohio.
The sons were John E. 1838-about 1902, George 1841-1860, Horance 1844-1919, Walter B 1851-1918, Eder 1853-1853. The daughters were Olivia 1836-1931, Catherine 1837-1907, Ruth Ann 1939-?, Permelia 1843-1845, Almira 1846-?.

I am going to Van Wert and Lima this summer and will be visiting the libraries in both towns in August 2012. I am looking for information about any of the above relatives.
