In 1959 I attended school at Jewish Hospital which was directly across the street from Cinn. General. It may be called University (of Cinn) Hospital today. However, to my knowledge birth certificates have to be obtained from the Bureau of Vital Statistics (maybe in Cinn (Hamilton County) or maybe from the state office in Columbus. I'm sure you can google the info. There were about a half dozen hospitals in a few blocks of each other including a hospital for unwed mothers but I can't remember the name. Also the greater Cincinnati area encompasses Newport and Covington, KY just across the river. Certificates aren't cheap. Good luck.
