Wood FAMILY- Charles, William mid 1800's

Surnames: WOOD, WALLER, WALTERS
Have been looking for my great grandfather's family. My GGfather was William Albert Wood born July, 1862. His father was Charles Wood and his mother's maiden name was Waller or Walters. I have tried Hancock County and Ross County. These are the two I thought most likely, but why not try WOOD County when looking for the Wood Family. Please help if you can
