Sandra, Hi I am desperetly trying to tie my Indian family in with the missing family members. My 4th great grandfather married a Issaru or Iffaru P. Brown in Wayne county in 1827 give or take 5 years. Though he may "not" be my line at all, and she may have been just stuck in that family, per say because her birth year. Her name was Morningstar- unsure of her last name. It also has a big story of some kind of kidnapping that went on as well. Though she was Indian. Which tribe? It has been said by others in the family as Miami. Miami were all over Ohio. But what caught my attention was the Reservation. It was close to Holmes County where she was. I would not think that it would have been "just" Cherokee there on the reservation.
Have you found out any more information about the reservation?
