Seek information on Emma TOOMIRE (TUMIRE?), born 19 May 1848, Champaign Co, OH, and died 20 Oct 1911. She married Jesse L. CAMERON, born in 1844, Jackson Township, Union Co, and died 18 June 1918. I would like information on Emma and her ancestors. A family story has it she was descended from a Hessian mercenary doctor (DUMAUER?) from Alsace-Loraine who fought for the British during the Revolution. I have no idea if this is true or not.
