Seeking information on the family of Frederick Reed who appears in the 1820 U. S. Census, Wayne Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. It appears he was born between 1774 and 1794. The Census shows he had 7 boys at home in 1820: six under 10 and one- the oldest- under 16.

I believe Frederick may have been the father of Hannah W. Reed, died 09 June 1844, wife of Robert Laughlin of Rush Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio

He may be related to another Frederick Reed (aka Rieth) who was born in Pennsylvania 11 Jan 1762 and died in Harrison County, Ohio, 06 May 1836. He and his wife, Mary Ann Groves, are buried in Cadiz Union Cemetery, Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio. They lived in Green Township, Harrison County, Ohio, most of their lives, but appear in German Township, Harrison County, Ohio, in 1830.
